Update on WWE's Plans For The Rock on TV, WMania & More By Nick Paglino

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE plans to use The Rock at least one more time on TV before he makes his appearance as the guest host of WrestleMania. The feeling is that while WWE wants to use The Rock on TV to help build his feud with Cena and The Miz heading into the big PPV, they don't want to over expose him to the fans as they want his WrestleMania experience to feel special.
Additionally, The Rock commented on the Raw returns of Triple H and The Undertaker by posting the following on his Twitter account: "loved seeing both Undertaker and Triple H return..what incredible crowd reactions for both..very happy for them - epic match!"

WWE.com has issued the following press release:

Being a WWE Superstar will present new challenges, new mountains to climb and new competition. It is a new beginning and a new life. Hulk Hogan Heavli Criticizes The Rock's Return by Nick Pagliano

TNA star Hulk Hogan recently did an interview with Peter Rosenberg of HOT 97 FM. Hogan hyped the Impact taping in Fayetteville, NC being held tonight, and had the following to say concerning The Rock's return to WWE:
"That is one of the reasons me and Vince McMahon don't get along because we disagree on wrestling theory. He's a genius. He has done a great job keeping the business alive and keeping it rolling."
When asked if there was something Hogan didn't like about Rock's return: "Yeah, yeah. There is certain ways to do things. You know, for The Rock to come out and say, we've gone from Austin 3:16 to The People's Champion to all of a sudden, you can't see me (in whiny voice). They spent so much time building John Cena up. If it was me I would have said, from the Austin era to The People's Champion era to John Cena. And I just gotta know in my heart whose the better man. There is a way to really build somebody up. You know.
All of a sudden in three or four seconds he had the whole arena screaming that Cena sucks. Sometimes I just don't understand the philosophy because John Cena is going to be there all the time. And even though The Rock said he was back, he was only back for one day. He isn't going to be there wrestling every single week like John Cena is, you know, holding it down and keeping it real. All that stuff is scripted, they have Stephanie McMahon and writers telling The Rock exactly what to say. I just didn't understand why they wanted to destroy Cena so quickly."

The Undertaker is Back and Triple H too

During last night's WWE Raw 2/21, The Undertaker was back, and Triple H showed up too, threatening as ever.
What an evening for ardent fans as these two wrestling wonders faced off.
The duo did not talk during their surprise encounter, but rather involved themselves in an intense, in-your-face stare down.
Then, just as Undertaker made an about face from the middle of the ring, he abruptly turned back to show HHH he still means business with yet a single gesture (the throat slash). Triple H responded with a signal of his own (the crotch chop), one that wasn't friendly, not in the least.
Take about fierce.
What was surprising to some sources, including ProWrestling, was that Taker's entrance -- which was allegedly late because 'he missed his cue' -- was not as rousing as when HHH came out. In fact, he received the lion's share of cheering growls.
Reports one avid site, 'Triple H received the biggest reaction of the night, even more than Undertaker, Randy Orton or John Cena.'
Wow.
Did you catch WWE Raw 2/21 during which time Undertaker was finslly back? What did you think about the dead man and Triple H in the ring once again? Thoughts? Thanks.

UNDERTAKER VS. TRIPLE H UPDATES LIVE FROM FRESNO

Triple H received the biggest reaction of the night, even more than Undertaker, Randy Orton or John Cena.
*Undertaker missed his cue and came out before his music started, then had to return to the back.
*After Raw went to commercial during the staredown, Triple H exited the ring and posed on the ramp. He left and Taker followed, posing on the way out.
As we broke in the Elite section on 2/10, HHH vs. Undertaker is set for Wrestlemania with Streak vs. Career and Shawn Michaels as the referee has been discussed.

Trish Returns

Another Canadian import made her return as well as Trish Stratus had an enhanced , surprise cameo on the PPV. The brunette Trish is just as lovely as the blond Trish. Good to hear that she's going to be a Tough Enough trainer. I'm watching.

The Coach Speaks Out About Working with Vince McMahon

Former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman was interviewed last week by the As The World Turns Left blog and an spoke at length about what it was like working for WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

"There were times, especially when I started doing the bigger shows, where I — you know, he’s a perfectionist, he built it from the ground up, I respected him and still do to this day — and because of the way he was, so hard, so difficult, I got to the point where I could almost repeat in within a quarter or half a second what he was telling me," Coachman said.

"We got that much in synch. It’s difficult. There were times when I’d leave a show, and literally, I don’t know what a migraine headache is, but I think that’s what I had. Your head is really pounding, and it feels like it’s just going to explode after asking your brain to shape everything perfectly for two hours. So, did I enjoy it all the time? No. Did it make me mentally, incredibly strong? Absolutely.

"And I always said this the last two or three years I was there: No matter who I work for when I leave here, it’ll be like working for Mister Rogers compared to working for him. And I mean that in a good way. We left on the best of terms, and I still go and see everybody when they’re around, in Hartford or Springfield or Bridgeport.

"And we get along great. So, it was a great time for me. Anybody that complains isn’t mentally tough, and I don’t want to hear it. I hate people that leave and then bash him, bash the company and say what a horrible guy he is, because he’s not. He just asks a lot. And you’ve got a bring a lot, that’s it."

Talk in Creative About Lawler Winning the Belt

There was actually talk in creative meetings of Jerry Lawler winning the WWE Title from The Miz at Elimination Chamber. There was one idea for Lawler to win at the pay-per-view and then drop the belt on tonight's RAW. There is a feeling that The Miz hasn't gotten over how they want and they need to give him big wins now to get him over.

John Cena and The Rock

If you had Fruity Pebbles is the answer as to how John Cena responded to the Rock's Cena fueled in ring promo Monday night on Raw then you win. However, one has to know that a more serious retort is coming at some point from the #1 contender to the WWE Title.

Michael Cole

The Voice of WWE, or so he says, Michael Cole really had an impassioned rant in the post match of the WWE Title bout where it was almost as if Cole was channeling a classic verbal barrage from Mr. McMahon or Jesse 'the Body' Ventura when both were having 'bad days.' Very 'I want to slap this guy' type of delivery and verbiage.

It will be interesting to see how Cole's rant is addressed Monday night on Raw as it relates to sitting next to King at their announce table.

The Rock is Back

Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio:Alberto Del Rio is evolving nicely. Love his cross arm breaker finisher. Del Rio gets into his finishing maneuver very cleverly. I Think Alberto Del Rio will have a successful outing at WM27

Let's Talk Wrestling

The Smackdown Elimination Chamber match was big league. One of the best PPV bouts I've seen in a long time especially one involving multiple participants. Nice to see Christian return as he's been on the injured list for months. 'Captain Charisma' is due to have a big 2011. Very skilled, underrated talent.

Let's Talk Wrestling

The WWE Chambers match was one of the best PPV I've seen in a long time especially one involving multiple participants. Although I was anticipating The Rock to come in for the fired Dolph Ziggler.
